My local Verizon store let me touch their dummy Droid 2. I like it. A lot. Is there any way I could return my DX in exchange without incurring massive penalties?

Outside the policy? Not really. Sell the DX on ebay, buy the D2 at full price.

What is the return policy? I bought it at midnight 7/14 from Verizon on-line; had it in my hands mid-day 7/16.
