Droid 2 R2-D2 Edition boot screen?

Hey, I just got my first droid today, the R2-D2 Edition of the Droid 2, and I' am wondering if there is any way to disable the boot-up sound with R2-D2, any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Only if rooted. You can flash a version of the boot with no sound or a different boot animation all together...it's part of bootanimation.bin and desc file in the boot.zip
