Droid 2 Global Touch Screen Issue

Hey all, I have a Droid 2 Global that's about a year and a half old now, and just today, the left side of my touch screen just stopped responding. The unresponsive strip is about 4 mm wide, but it also includes the menu key. Has anyone else encountered this issue or a similar one? If so, what can be done to fix it? Thanks in advance!

Hi,my a956 also got the same problem.I change a new screen.You should check the cable first.And if it is fine,you had to change a new screen.
