Hello,
I'm new here and I have been reading for a couple of days now. I live in Costa Rica and this is my first Android phone
I got my D2G last week. I wanted to give Fission a try. I'm new to Android and this is what I'm facing:
I rooted my phone (z4root)
Installed Droid 2 Bootstrap
Installed Fission Rom Manager.
Followed the instructions in order to dowload Fission 2.4.3 for the D2G.
The phone rebooted and the ROM installed succesfully.
I tried the process several times and no success. It stays in a loop where I see the android animation and then for a couple of seconds the screen that says touch the android to begin, then it comes back to the android animation.
One time I was able to pass that screen and the phone actually got to the home screen but then it just started rebooting and staying on that loop.
I would like to know if you have some suggestions on what I could do...
I cleared the cache, wipe data/factory...same result.
And also, that one time that I was able to get the home screen, just before that, it showed up a screen asking for an activation code...why? It actually didn't take my SIM card.
Am I missing something?
Right now I'm back to stock from a nandoid backup.
Thank you in advance!
