Droid 2 and calendar

A co-worker got a droid 2.. when she goes to calendar, she tries to create a new event. It gives out an error message saying calendar needs to be synced with an account. Go to options, I do not see any account. How do I go by adding her account? Email syncs fine. Thanks for any help..

it should automatically sync with her google account. if she doesn't have one get her to set up a gmail account, just go to settings, accounts, add account, google, and set up a gmail account. It will sync fine then.
