I'd like to download .torrent files to my phone, but I don't want or need a BitTorrent client or controller. All I want to do is to be able to download a .torrent file. I have a DropBox folder that my home computer scans for new .torrent files, and want to simply be able to download .torrent files on my phone and move them to the DropBox folder using the DropBox app. I don't need the fine-grained control or extra complexity of a torrent controller app.

I have a rooted Droid X. Does anyone know of either an app, such as a download manager, that would let me download .torrent files, or else a hack that would bypass the restriction preventing the download of .torrent files in the browser?

Thanks

EDIT: SOLVED. It turns out the Opera Mini browser has no problem with .torrent files.

There's a setting in Astro to allow the browser to download any type of file.
