I didn't think to reformat data/cache since I don't think the ROM actually installed completely, otherwise the phone would be booting, right?

Worth a shot though, and thanks, your help IS appreciated!

:D hopefully that works for you. It might not have installed completely but hopefully there's enough to work with.

Well I guess I'll leave it plugged in overnight, might charge just enough by the morning to actually work.

Thanks again all!

In the meantime I'm rooting my Inc and such, I actually already emailed Verizon saying I am considering sending the X back and keeping the Inc.

Okay well I have a hunch it is charging via USB and NOT AC, ironically.

But I get the green LED light via USB, and it doesn't try to boot, which I assume drains the battery about as fast as it can charge. AC tries to boot the phone, which doesn't help charge it...I'm pretty confidant USB will work, optimistic and everything!

It doesn't charge at the M, the phone is useless without a replacement battery that has a decent charge....

So it's all on Verizon... I'll probably end up staying with the inc, ya know, take it as a sign haha

I think you just need to download the SBF and get it over with. :D Don't let it die in this process, so you need to see if you can borrow someone's charged battery or get them to charge yours for yours. Or go get a new one.

I don't think maderstcok is signed...

But I'm trying that "Happy Holidays..." 2.3.1 sbf file now...
Happy holidays is 2.3.15. You can't go from 320 or 340(2.2.1) to that. There is a full 340 SBF out there in the google world :). I have it.

SBF it to 340 and you'll be all set.

Yeah I can have someone charge it, but I wouldn't get it back until Monday.

You guys do know I can't SBF, the battery is too low (it'll charge to like 5%, then it boots).

If you mean SBF in Android recovery (Power+Home), all the SBF files I have tried have invalid signatures, guess that explains your saying the versions are different.

Can you link me to that SBF that'll work?
