does anybody have this issue?

Have you installed an SD card and moved your photos and music to it?

If you view what is currently stored on your device storage, what large groups of items soak up the memory.

How do i put all of my pics and vids onto my sdcard?

First, do you have a SD card installed in your phone? And is your PC a Windows-based device? And are those miscellaneous files mostly pictures and music?

No i have a mac

Then I can help only part of the way. Assuming that you have a SD format in the phone.

Option 1: use an app on your phone like My Files to move folders from the device storage to the card. Depending on the number of folder you have to move, this might be really simple or very complicated and time consuming.

Option 2: hook the phone up to your MAC, get it recognized as a new drive, and cut and paste folders between drives as you would do with other drives. I have a PC and this is the general approach I take.

**** i dont have time to do all that ... thsnk you for the instructions ill do it when i have free time

Easiest solution for me, is to download Dropbox to both my device and my Mac. Make sure to select sync photos on your Mac and your phone and bang. You can delete all of your videos/pix on your phone, so long as you have ensured that your photos are being uploaded to your Mac.
