Do droid people keep their ipods/ zunes?

I love my Droid and my iPod touch 2nd gen. I use the ipod mainly for music and random app play. I'll use my droid for music if I know I won't be out for that long.

I still have my iPod Touch simply because its sounds a h*** of a lot better than music coming off my droid. This is mostly due to the lack of an EQ but even the rough ones I've tried in a few beta music players still sound hollow and don't provide range.

I ditched my Ipod touch. I have about 6GB worth of music, and about 3GB of videos on my droid.

I was carrying both my touch and droid for awhile because at the time, my fitness app was better on Ipod. Now, I found a better one for Droid.

Now, with my Bluetooth headphones and my Droid, I'm a happy camper.

I have a 32GB iphone 3gs as my personal phone/device.

A droid is my work phone.

I also have a 160GB ipod classic

And a 16GB 5th gen Nano.

And an ipod touch.

I use all of them for different reasons, but I also have around 80gigs of music and around 400 movies on my Mac, so I can use all the space I can get ;) Not to mention about 6k pics and whatnot.

that is quite the collection you got going.

i have a dedicated sony mp3 player and the droid will not replace an mp3, for me, ever. I need a dedicated mp3 player just for music and no other distractions, plus it's much lighter than the Droid.

Oh I have condensed the list :icon_eek:

At one point I had about 10 iphones (dont ask, but I do alot with them, and Im a mod on a huge iphone forum)
2 ipod classics 160gb
2 ipod touch's 32gb, 16gb
16gb nano
Zune
The Droid.

I might get killed for this, but I highly prefer the music on any of Apple's products. So I dont even have any on the Droid - I run 2 businesses and it is for work (and Android play, lol)

The ipod classic has alot of my movies on it, I have a cable that will plug directly into a TV and play them - actually with very good quality, tiny storage.

The Nano goes to the gym with me, I also love the fact that I can listen to the radio from it (5th gen).

The Touch has turned into a play toy for my 18month old son, who loves watching vids on it.

And the iphone is for all the rest of the time, lol.

Have a 1st gen 2GB Nano for myself and a 2nd gen 2GB Nano for my wife. Haven't filled either to full capacity as we don't really use them much. Have to hand it to Apple, they sound phenomenal compared to other bargain-basement mp3 players.

Haven't put any music on my Droid yet. I've listened to Pandora and another radio program and the sound quality pales in comparison to the iPods. I use my Droid for sheer gadgety goodness and sometimes as a phone. dancedroid

Ever since the Motorola E815, I been using my phones as my music player. It just makes sense to cut down on how many devices I carry. As long as it can play a playlist, I'm good.

When I switched to smartphones, I havent really played movies on my phones. I might start now.

I still use my iPod because it's got an equalizer...and 60GB of space. I should really get a new music app for the Droid...

Still use mine....occasionally

Lots of space left, and, I bought a pair of Swedish EarBuds called D-Jays. (link).....

These puppies render AMAZING sound quality, and make that iPod cook!

I have 6103 songs on board the iPod. That means I can play, without repeating, for 16.5 days. Could go Round Trip from LA to New York about 4 times with no repeats! lol

Its 46.94 gB worth of tunes. Besides, I own it, Ican't possibly get anything near what I paid for it...on eBaY they are going for between $80 and $120. I'll probably keep it until Droid can match the sound quality, offers a 120G SD Card, and a program to allow copying to my OWN device with no DMR squabbles.

^ Droid most certainly matches sound quality lol.

I'm with ya on the 120GB sound card and DRM stuff though. That's why I refuse to purchase DRM'ed music.

I use my ipod touch for music at school and for my car and use my droid when I forget my ipod lol

Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk

I sold my Zune. I have 110Gb of high quality mp3s / some FLAC and with xilla live, Slacker, Pandora, Last.fm apps and 16GB of music... I manage. Also I think I might get a 32gb card sometime.

yeah, no fan of apple, but a big fan of the ipod classic. will prob never give it up. i have too much music. battery life on ipod classic is awesome. don't wanna drain my phones life by doubling as a mp3 player. don't get me wrong, i do use its capabilities in my car/on the go (pandora, radio outside of my area). i don't mind carrying both.....I listen to my ipod while i play/surf on my phone
