Display not coming on while in a call

Ok so when i make a phone call my display goes blank to save battery but when i pull phone from my ear ie checking call waiting it will not come back unless i hit power button. Any ideas on a setting or other issue

Do you have a screen protector? If so, it's probably covering the proximity sensor.

Ok. Makes sense. Where is the sensor located so i can trim protector?
