Phontbook/Contacts "call button"

Hey folks. On my moto droid 2 when I pull up my contacts, as far as I know, to call one of them I have to long click and wait 5 or 10 seconds for the menu to come up, then push the call contact option. Is there any way to put a call button on the right side of the screen for each contact or anything in the phone book? Unless I'm missing something, seems like an ineffective way of using the phonebook.

Just press their picture and it will bring up a little slide out menu and you click the button with a phone and dial pad
