Disable the new orientation

Is there a way to disable the new orientation in the 2.2 froyo? The other landscape where the buttons are on the left side.

If I understand your question correctly, I think you're talking about how the dots on either side of the bottom dock take up space in landscape orientation which they didn't do in 2.1.

You can fix this by downloading LauncherPro from the market (free). Here's a comparison:

The stock droid home screen only turns when the keyboard is out. He is using launcher pro home screen

I think the OP is talking about the 270 degree rotation that came with 2.2.

As far as I know, you can't disable it.
