Disable the car dock feature?

Is there any way to disabel the car dock feature for the Droid X?
It constantly turns on the car dock mode from the magnets in its case, and its burning through my battery.

Does anyone know if there is a way to turn off the card dock feature?

I downloaded Titanium Backup and "froze" it. It removed it from my app drawer and from what it looks like, it's not running in the background at all.
