Disable fixed Search button?

Is there a way to remove or disable the built in search button on the very bottom right of my screen? For some reason I keep hitting that when I don't intend to.

Me too. Hope we get an answer, because that has been bugging me since day 1. I don't use it and it just gets in the way.

I don't believe so..unless you root and ROM..even then maybe not..

You could try apex launcher... It can program that button... Might be able to select none as a choice

Update... Regarding apex launcher... Do nothing... is a choice for the button
