Different battery chargers

I am having a problem with charging in my car. Port is fine. It is the droid charger that was purchased from verizon's store. It seems to charge unusually slow all of a sudden. And sometimes it stops charging at 50% My other question refers to using different wall chargers. My mother uses a blackberry charge that 'came" with her phone. It puts out 5v and 700 ma. I am pretty sure the one I have puts out same voltage and 850 ma. She also uses another with 180 ma. The black berry will cause my touch screen to go crazy when plugged in. Most likely because it isn't designed for a droid. Long story short I would like to know if using these different chargers will affect my batteries ability to gain a charge and hold a charge.
