Detailed review of the Thunderbolt

I like how Engadget writes their reviews, but they can sometimes be long winded. It's almost like they need an executive summary. Their pictures could also be better.

Agreed, I'm one of those guys that never reads the manuals but likes to find things out for myself. I could never learn from a textbook, I'm a hands on guy. These reviews are interesting. I'd be more interested in them if they explained more of exactly what they did but then it would be far too technical for the masses :p

Sometimes the reviews point out some things that I didn't know about the phone. That can sometimes be helpful :) But yeh, I generally don't read manuals unless I have to either.

looks like i'm returning this for a thunderbolt. custom roms and kernels should help battery life and performance.

ill watch reviews usually in the hopes that it will show me if i push this and do that it will do this <something i didnt know> but it seems as of right now they are all just the same review just different voices.
