deleting Messages in Email App

Does anyone know if there is any way to delete all messages in the Email App.
When I uploaded my email into the Driod it added all of emails and I now have 2,389 messages in the email app and the only way I know how to delete the messages is to do it one by one.
Help me...

The email on this thing sucks, have the same issue. I suggest you go see verizon. Mine keeps trying to download every month for the last two years of emails, REALLY SUCKS.

While I haven't had the thousands of messages problem, I agree that the email app desprately need to get a select all or delete all option. Even though I keep my inbox pretty empty, the trash never empties on its own and deleting the messages or tapping each message prior to deleting is a pain! Someone in development please change this!

That aside this phone is awesome!
