Removing deleted emails?

How does one empty the "deleted items" folder in the email program on droid?

I'm anal about keeping a "neat" email inbox, and not keeping scads of messages on my devices (iPod Touch, droid). It's great that I can check my Comcast email on droid, but when I delete an email, it puts it in the deleted items folder. How do you empty that folder?

Well, I managed to find the answer to my own question.

To delete the items in the "trash" folder, you have to go to the trash folder, and touch the check mark to the left of the message in list view. Once you've selected a message/messages droid then gives you the option to "delete".

iPod/iPhone had an update to their mail program that you could "select all" to delete messages from the trash folder. Would be nice to see that on droid too.

Basically, you delete the message twice. One "delete" sends the message to the trash folder, then you delete it again out of the trash folder and it's gone.

Yes, I'm just that fussy about keeping a tidy email program :D
