deleting mail from phone and server?

My husband has the droid 1 and he has an option so that when he deletes a message from his hotmail through his phone, it deletes on the server as well, and vice versa. I want to do that on my droid 2 but I can't figure out how! Is it possible? What steps do I need to take?

Please do not use the stock email client as it is buggy and lacks key features. Try K9, maildroid, or touchdown(for Exchange)

Can K9 or maildroid create other folders for email organizing?

deleting messages

I have a new Droid 2 and whenever I delete an email message on my phone, it also disappears on my computer. Is there an option to delete from handheld but NOT from computer?
