Delayed/repeating SMS and mms texts

When my android gets hot because of bad wifi or mobile data signal it resends texts over and over annoying people also I have issues receiving iphone messages frequently i have a lg g4 on verizon but i had similar issues with motorola maxx anyway to tweak?

The iPhone sender needs to turn Android on in the settings menu.
Not a clue about the resend issue. If you had this issue with another phone, perhaps it's a Verizon issue.

If you're using an aftermarket text app they usually have a "prevent resend" option in their settings for such things as you're experiencing

I haven't found the prevent resend option in Any sms apps which ones have it. I had the issue a bit i droid maxx and tons on lg g4 so far no issues on turbo my cuurent theory is when battery saver kicks in or phone gets to hot sms has trouble sending and low signal effects as well. Verizon was of no help except for telli g me of an offer that any smartpbone that turns on is worth 200 in trade towards a turbo which helped defray the cost of switching to it from g4

Handcent, Chomp come to mind but I'd be guessing from a faulty memory on any others I've tried. I've been using Textra as of late and it no longer has the option . To be honest I've not needed it since leaving Verizon and its craptacular reception in my world.
