default number?

had a D1 for about a year and wife bought me a DX a couple days ago.

i cannot figure out how to set a 'default' number for a contact.

im quite sure this is as simple as it was on the D1, but i simply cant get this.

help please :icon_eek:

go to the dialer, tap on contacts
swipe down to contact, and tap green phone
dialog box will come up with "Remember this choice" check box below.
Tap check mark, then phone number you want as default.

Can't get default on mine either

I tried the listed method and it doesn't come up. I have seen making a number default as a choice, but can't seem to recreate it. Some contacts I noticed the mobile is listed above the home phone, and others its not. If you figure it out I'd appreciate it.

Yeah Ive tried the long press for different things, it all depends on what and where you seem to press it.......

Long press works fine on all my contacts.
