Deal to get a 4G phone...

I was on the phone with customer service yesterday about my daughter's Droid 3 and I was told for accounts in 4G areas that any Android phones that are 3G are eligible for early upgrades to any 4G phone but the offer ends May 31st. She also said that because both my wife's and daughter's lines are on 3G (my wife with the DINC2). I called customer service again today just out of curiosity and another rep told me the same thing.

Just an fyi to others that has multi lines like my account that has any 3G smartphones and wants an early upgrade. But let me stress again the deal is only available in huge 4G markets like mine (Charleston, SC)

charleston has 4g?

so you have to have a 3g enabled phone to be eligible for an upgrade? even if you upgraded a few months ago?

From what customer service told me those lines that have had a 3G smartphone for a while those lines will be eligible. That's why my wife and daughter can do an early upgrade to any 4G phone.
