Dead Pixel!

I have a white, Dead Pixel in the bottom left hand corner of my screen. It just really bothers me because Ive had this phone about a month and I just cant help but notice it every time I look at the screen. Do you think Verizon will still swap it for a brand new phone if I'm over my one month warranty by 2-3 days? thanks
sorry if this has been posted already.

You can try but they might end up giving you a refurb. Worth a shot though.

Go in store tomorrow and talk to a manager. Tell them your situation and be stern but polite. That's probably your best bet.

I'm probably going to have to have my dad to do that, as I'm only 14 (15 on the 8th)
I paid for the phone by myself though. Think I can Get a Brand new one?

You're dad may be able to get a little more done. No offense but I did that kind of stuff when I was your age and I didn't get taken seriously. If your dad is a smooth talker he might be able to get you a new one.

That you have less of a chance of getting a replacement.

well I'm just going to tell them its a dead pixel and hope they don't know the difference between the two. I think I didn't notice before because I had a protector that a vzw rep put on. It was all scratched up because she used her nails to push the bubbles out. I took it off today and noticed the pixel

Not meaning to double post but are there any ways to get dust out from under the screen? Assuming that's what it is

If a pixel is white it's not dead, it's "stuck". There's a difference. A "stuck" pixel can be coaxed back to normal, but I don't know how you'd do it on a Droid.

A piece of dust under the screen? Impossible. That screen is sealed. If it is a piece of dust under the screen you have a problem and it's a hardware fault.

That's what it looks like because its under the glass but above the actual screen

Someone on here was complaining about dust under their screen and even though that is evidence of hardware problems the guys at verizon told em tough cookies.

I just noticed today after I took off my protector. I don't know if its a pixel or dust.
