data solution here

I have been doing some thinking and i found out if you remove the following, data is stable the whole time, no more odd ons and offs. The following are: battery data manager and battery manager. Use root uninstaller to freeze them and connection should remain on. And if using a custom rom, you can control with the on and off switch. Also froze data manager service. Let me know if this helps and if anyone needs help doing this. Works for me, I'm in control of data on and off now

this has been posted in many areas and fixs the data issue

Before I try it, what exactly does Data Manager Service do and what other impact does disabling it have (other applications...)?

It does work but you have no battery management so it effects battery life a small bit. But signal galore.

So wait, you're telling me all I have to do is root and freeze some moto hardcoded apps to fix the data issue?! Why did no one spot this sooner! This should've been all over the web and back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and how different is this from running in performance mode with no battery management anyways?

test question. network settings go from LTE/CDMA to CDMA only.. immediate hand-off and no drop even then?

So, will going into settings > manage applications and doing a force stop on battery manager and data services manager suffice for testing this? (Suspect the service would restart when I reboot... ). Seems odd that these services would impact network drops.

Not sure if stopping them will work. but if u don't take my word for it try it for yourself. But it works. Seriously though.

With your red font & mix of capital letters every other word I feel like I'm reading a post from the Riddler...

I too was searching for some hidden message within the post. I'm not much of a cryptographer, though.

Wow dude, at least give a good honest effort to use understandable grammar and punctuation. The way that you write things makes it extremely difficult to determine what you're saying.

No offense, just saying

Ha, also just did it, so I'll also be reporting back in. Freezing battery manager caused one of those repeat force closes, but no problem coming back on. What's funny is before when I would restart my phone, the same 3 widgets would always get screwed up and I'd have to place them again. After doing the battery pull for this, all three remained intact no problems. Interesting...

Ditto.. messed with closing the services yesterday, experienced the same types of issues. For me, myth busted.
