Well if it's a video she recorded, then usually it is automatically saved to the sdcard. Unless she doesn't have one installed

Actually, even with one installed, I believe the stock camera app stores to phone memory by default.

The important thing is to find out where the op had the video in question stored.

Johnny, I think you're right from my recollection and I thought it was quite stupid that it defaulted to the internal SD card.

Wonder if it matters of the phone is on. I've always put mine in when the phone is off & never got a popup, but it makes sense that it might ask you if the phone is on when you put it in.
