Hey guys,
Total newb here when it comes to rooting, etc. Most I've done is install leaked official updates early because I didn't want to wait a couple of days. Just bought a DX and have my old D1 that I want to root it mainly to enhance its performance.
I'm looking for very simple, exact instructions. I've heard terms like bootloader thrown around and have NO idea what that means. So, an explanation as though you were explaining it to a 10-year-old would be awesome! I looked for SuperOneClick, which I heard was really easy, but the site seems to be down, or, at least, the link to the download has gone 404.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
