Rooting my Droid with FRG22D

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I did a search but didn't find what I'm looking for.

I've never rooted and know nothing about rooting. I have a D1 w/FRG22D. Can you guys please paste links to this thread
telling me how to root my droid w/FRG22d? I’m guessing there’s a single location somewhere on the web that fully explains rooting and has directions for rooting a D1 w/FRG22d. Please post any such links!
