D1 display screen unresponsive

hey all, i installed BBv6.1 and it worked incredible for a couple of days. one morning i rebooted my phone and everything went through th eprocess except the display. i can see the screen is on because it is lit and everything lights up. It just glows dark. tried battery pull and boot recovery. is there a way to physically check for connectivity or any solutions come to mind?? Thanks in advance

I have the same problem, except it happened after dropping it. Everything else lights up but the screen. Any suggestions?
