Ctrl keys etc for console?

So I installed ConnectBot on my DroidX, which is awesome, except that I need to use Ctrl for lots of things of course. Any way to do that? Or is there some alternate method for doing things like ctrl+c? Another good terminal app perhaps?

Not sure if you figured this out, but for "Control" you press the center of the D pad once....so control c would be D-pad center press then c.

Yeah unfortunately the Droid1 tricks don't work for this.

I ended up buying "better terminal emulator", which lets you use the search button for Ctrl. Works pretty well.
