Has the image file extension been changed where FB can't recognize it?

I just d.load this photo from my email then I cropped it. After that I tried to upload it on fb but then it says fb can't recognize it.

What if you don't put up the cropped version?

Crop it on the computer and use the computer to put it on FB?

What are you using to crop the photo? Try saving it and then looking at the extension
