So, the video below is part personal experience, part news about a lesser known Gmail feature, part tutorial about how to keep your identity under closer control, but it all starts with a Very Poor Decision:



TLDR: Someone didn't want junk mail, and sent it to a random (my) email address. It had more information than they expected, so Ill give you an easy trick to make sure that your email is automatically filtered to the appropriate place. Takes minutes tops, and you only have to change the settings inside your Gmail account.
 
I thought everybody had a "dummy" address to send crap to. As in, promotional crap, free WiFi etc. that you know they will bombard your inbox to death.

Yeah, its REALLY not that hard :/ I mean, as I mention, you can even get it all automatically filtered by adding a period! I just.... its just so bizarre!
