Crappy battery life after update

So I noticed my batter life has pretty much gone to **** after I updated to the latest verizon OTA 6.12.181.

After uninstalling various applications which I thought were eating the battery life I found that the stupid smart actions smart rules process is chewing up about 40% of the CPU time, all the time.

Does anyone else have this problem, and is there anyway to get rid of this app until it's fixed?

If smart actions is chewing up your battery, perhaps you should look into refining the rules on some of your smart actions?? Idk how you have it setup, but you might look there first??

I've completely disabled all rules. It should be doing nothing at all, yet it still does. I ended up using Ti to just freeze it

If its frozen, then you should be good to go now. But I was going to suggest un-installing the updates. Then re-installing it. If you don't use smart actions battery saver, IMHO your not utilizing the true potential of the battery.

What I mean is that by using smart actions, my maxx truly came to life.

That sucks. Perhaps they'll update it. But I hear good things about juice defender. Lots of people here use it. It does some of the same things.

Did you freeze both? Smart Actions (com.motorola.contextual.smartrules) and Smart Actions FW (com.motorola.contextual.fw) ? I think one's the app and one's the service.
