Hi -
Great Forum!

Can someone please point me to a tutorial on this? I have about 4000 I'd like to store on my new Droid X.

Thanks -

Richard

1 - Connect your phone to the computer via USB.
2 - Pull down the notification bar and tap on the notification that says "USB connection"
3 - Select "Mass Storage"
4 - Look for the device on your computer as if you were using a thumb drive.
5 - open the folder entitled DCIM
6 - drag a "folder" containing your photos into that directory, or drag the photos into a pre-existing folder within the DCIM directory.
7 - dismount the mass storage device

done! =)

Thank you, But I did all that and

when I touched the Gallery Icon it now says "SD Card is unmounted or unavailable."

I know it's in there because I saw it when I installed the battery yesterday.

Help?
Thanks very much.

That happened to me too. My fix was to:

(after transferring photos and unmounting)
1 - Tap on the USB notification and select "charge only"
2 - Disconnect the USB cable.
3 - Wait a few seconds and enter the gallery.

For some reason, it takes a few seconds for the phone to reroute access to the card. It's still there, it just things that another source is using it for a couple seconds ...

I accidentally unmounted my SD card from the menu. The only way I would get it to remount was to remove it and reinsert it.
