Where do my saved photos go?

Newbie to these new phones....sigh.... When I save a photo that someone texts me.... its not in my gallery or camera...it looks like it jpegs it? How do I find them please?... I'm about ready
to buy a dam Trac Phone again.....

What about saved pics from any website for screensavers...

What about saved pics from any website for screensavers... where do they go? I only see the latest saved picture as my wallpaper.
