With my BBerry, I could send an email and the system would also send a copy of my email to me, letting me receive my sent BBerry email on my PC. That way I have a copy of all emails sent from my phone on my PC.
What email backend system are you using? And what were you using on the PC to accomplish this before?
Exchange and IMAP can be set up within outlook for instance, and will sync all folders including your sent items. POP3 is hit and miss, some servers won't sync sent items at all no matter what you do. From there, you can archive your outlook emails.
If you really want to do it the way you did before, you can bcc the email to yourself the way you were doing it before. The default apps don't support doing this automatically afaik, but K9 supports that. K9 is a much better android email client anyway, and it's free.
Thanks for the reply. I assume the bbery was bcc-ing me in some fashion. I have heard K9 so many times. I should just get it. How do I go about getting K9? I have never bought or installed a free app before.
Maybe this isn't appropriate to discuss an app, however k9 is loaded successfully. However i find unsent emails in my outbox and can't figure out how to send a them i'm new to the whole app thing.
