Contacts syncing with text & Bluetooth on bionic

Used to be able to start a new text by just typing in the name of the person, but ever since the up date, it only does a select few. To send a text to someone, I have to start it from the contacts page and not the text page. Also noticed tonight the same thing goes for when I am connected via Bluetooth in the car.
