contacts problem

I can't seem to get all my contacts to show up. I am not synced with anything. When o do a search for them they're there but won't show up under contacts . I have around 60 contacts but it only shows 41.

You are actually synced to your gmail account..go to your contacts..hit settings..display options..

could it be that the 20 odd ones that don't show up only have email (or anything but phone numbers)? there's an option to display only those contacts with phone numbers.

when in contacts, select menu, and then display options, if the "only contacts with phones" is checked, try unchecking and see if the whole list comes up
