Contacts issue taking up to 50% of my cpu....any ideas why?

So, over the last week or so, my phone just randomly bogs down, & after putting elixr on it, i discovered my contacts seem to be the culprit, & are regularly using 25-50% of my cpu, which i wasnt using prior to any of the slowdowns....

Any ideas why that might be?
