Contact Storage

I just noticed my Maxx contacts are saved to "backup assistant/contacts" by default. I haven't seen this before on my OG Droid. Should I switch this to storage on Google? Whats the scoop? All I really care about is not losing the contacts and if I need a new phone that the contacts dump in like usual when I sign into gmail.

I back them up with Google personally, but either is fine I guess.

So you suggest I should change ghe default to Google? Is the other a Verizon service or just SD card?

It's a Verizon Service, they're stored to VZWs cloud.

You can store them in both with no problems, but I personally use Google for everything.
