Contact Ringtones

I have an Incredible running 2.2 I set my individual contact ringtones, they show they are there but all I get is the default ringtone when the person calls. Was working fine until update.

I have the Droid X, but a colleague called me and asked about this very issue. She has the Incredible - so we assume the issue is caused because of the 2.2 update mentioned above. Can anyone verify this?

Do you know when Verizon expects to have a fix with a newer update?

I haven't heard of any issues with this, nor did I experience it myself with the new update. If you could, write your process step by step about how you're setting those ringtones up with their respective contacts in the phone. I have a feeling this may be a settings issue. If not, we'll go from there. Glad you're with us.

Thanks for responding. I removed my battery and rebooted and it fixed the problem
