I have been using the ringtone trimmer to set a portion of a mp3 as my default ringtone. However, it seems like every time I reboot my Incredible, the mp3 ringtone will be replaced by a default tone. Does anyone else have this problem and is there a fix for it?

Thanks in advance!

I've never used that app, maybe try Ringdroid, same concept, and I've never had that problem.

Yep, ringdroid creates a directory on your sd card named media\audio\ringtones "or also notifications".

Any music or sound file you drop into that directory will be seen by the phone as available for use.

Fix

I had same problem with ringtone made in ringtone trimmer diappearing. This is what I did to fix it.
Copy mp3 out of ringtonetrimmer sub folder ringtone in the phone memory and move it into ringtone folder on SD card.
Has worked so far. Have my fingers crossed. :)
This was all done with phone hooked up with usb to computer of course.
