Contact Bloat

I am sporting the Thunderbolt for the last 2 months. Love this phone!!! One thing that has been bugging me though is my Contacts. Every time I click a contact I see Multiple entries under the contact. I see their facebook status twice. 1 is linked to Facebook for HTC Sense, the other just says facebook. Any idea how to streamline my contacts to remove the extraneous stuff?

I do this by not even syncing with Facebook.
