Considering this phone, couple questions about it

I am tossed up between this phone and the incredible 4g. I started my droid journey with the droid one and loved it, but hated how the keyboard slider part got sloppy and loose and would open partially in my pocket. Those of you thata have had yours for a while, how is it aging? Slider still strong? I'm coming from the thunderbolt, what are your general likes and dislikes? Why should I choose this one over the incredible 4g? Thanks in advance!!

I think the construction has got progressively better. After 20 months, my Droid 2 Global was fine, keyboard slider as firm as ever. I've only had the 4 about two months, it's still good but hardly a meaningful data point...

I really like the clarity of the phone conversations and the speed of the internet connections (as well as the keyboard, of course).
