Connection but no data

I just purchased a Razor MAXX and installed Foxfi. I can get a connection between my computer and phone but can't get to any web sites. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to find another hotspot app?

If you are on Jelly Bean, FoxFi will not work. They make it clear in the app store that it works on ICS but not JB.

You will need pdanet+.

Uninstall and re-install FoxFi.. Then reboot phone.

Neither Foxfi reinstall and pdanet+ worked for me. I suppose I will have to wait until foxfi upgrades their app, unless anyone else has another suggestion.
