Now that FoxFI is gimped, what is the next best no-root WIFI tether app?

Can anyone help me get the foxfi hotspot to work on my razr maxx? I paid for the app and have Jelly Bean. Use to work before Jelly Bean.

Installed the certificate, created the pattern lock, renamed the network name, and changed password

I get the following message on my Droid Razr Maxx:

Fail to activate hotspot. Fail to enable hotspot. Your phone is not yet supported by foxfi

not sure if this helps, but foxfi is now PDAnet, I have PDAnet, foxfi and foxfi key installed. The update required me to install the security certificate. Your phone will need to be password protected to use the security certificate. Good Luck!

I get a window saying "FoxFi attempts to create a VPN connection. ... "I TRUST THIS APPLICATION" . Choices are Cancel and OK. However the OK is greyed out and I can't get past this point. And then "Failed to activate hotspot" VPN Canceled". Any suggestions?

I'm ok now. Due to my inexperience, I failed to click on acceptance of terms etc. After I did that it worked like it is supposed to.
