Comparison of Droid camera vs. $100 point and shoot

well, 5.0 mp camera on the droid won't compare to a $99 10 or 12 mp point and shoot cameras they have out now. Not a big deal IMO.

when I was debating the entire switchover to the droid, my reasoning was this

standalone music player > droid music player
standalone camera > droid camera
standalone GPS > droid gps
standalone video > droid video
mini laptop > droid inet

but the common denominator is the droid could do everyone of those things well enough, that the tradeoff for carrying around a MP3 player, camera/video, gps in the car, or a laptop wasn't an option.

and 5.0 celly camera still better than the 5.1 mp camera I had 2 years ago as my main camera just due to size

Coming up later: More comparison shots with the droid and canon, but now with the iphone thrown in the mix.

Wow, those look too good to be droid pictures. You have it set to night mode for all these?
Yes, i figured out that the whole issue seems to be light just like eveyone else says, flash seems to cause more problems than it fixes... but if you put it in night mode for your day shots and stabalize your hand with say your pinky finger, you can get some pretty good shots out of it
