CM7 profiles question

I don't quite know how the profiles in CM7 work.

It let's you set different ringtones for different apps on each profile. It also gives an option for some kind of phone override notification. How does this work? Do I need to do anything special inside of the app to let the profiles setting work? Or is it like a blackberry where I set it in there and leave it?

Anyone? Not the easiest thing to google...

That sounds pretty sweet! I just bought Tasker a few weeks ago, and it sounds like this can interface with it. I'm going to be flashing CM4D2 tomorrow night, so I'll have to check it out and see how it works!

From what I understand, the scripts in profiles were built from tasker, and incorperated into RC2 of CM7
