I tried searching the forums, but couldn't find any info, so I am hoping someone would be able to help me.

When I have my droid in a holster sitting in sideways and when I pick it up, there is this cool looking clock and some shortcut keys. However, I don't know how to run this on my phone because I am not sure if it is an app or some type of screen saver. I looked at the alarm clock, but it doesn't look the same.

Sounds like the same thing that appears when you have the phone in the Multimedia Dock. Clock, weather, shortcuts for music and pics, etc...

I know there's an app on the Market that will make it show Multimedia Dock mode. Try searching for Dock in the Market and see if that pulls it up.

Sounds like your holster's magnet is activating it. Try to play with the magnet on the holster and the phone and see if that brings it up. If you do have a holster with a magnet you might want to change it to one without a magnet.

First off you need to get rid of that holster. It has a magnet in it that is putting your device into that mode (which will quickly drain your phone)

As the poster above said, thats what happens when you dock it. Difference is though when it's in the dock it is getting juice. In your holster it's not...

So get rid of that holster..

What holster is it anyway?
