clear music player icon from status bar???

So how do you do it? I used the music player app for the first time while walking to the store, now the music player icon in the status bar won't go away. I tried going into the task manager thing and ending the app, but that didn't help at all and it just opens itself back up.

For the Droid 2, by the way.

pull the notification bar down and hit 'clear'

Thanks for the reply man, but the clear option isn't there for this. I have had the clear option there while other programs are running, and when I click it, it will clear off the other apps but the music player icon remains.
