Cause the list of things you search for in the market can get out of hand, and theres no real way to delete it. Cachemate will do it automatically for you if you set it up to. Thanks for the info though, jdx.
i believe you need root access to see anything in the /data folder. then you can use an app like root explorer to view and delete the db file mentioned in this thread.

when you opened the app it should have prompted you to give it super user permissions....or something like that. if it didn't then you can't see root. are you sure you're rooted? if positive, try an app like root explorer.
